The Sensaphone FGD-0220 J-Type Thermocouple/4-20mA Converter will allow you to use a standard J-type thermocouple on any Sensaphone that accepts a 4-20mA input signal. Thermocouple not included.

This thermocouple to 4-20mA converter is useful when monitoring very high or very low temperatures that cannot be monitored with a standard Sensaphone temperature sensor.  Thermocouples are available in a variety of packages that may be perfectly suited to your measuring application (contact us for more information).

Each FGD-0220 provides a single channel of thermocouple input which is filtered, isolated, amplified, linearized, and converted to a 4-20mA output.  Isolation is provided by transformer coupling, using a proprietary technique to suppress transmission of common mode spikes or surges.  The modules have excellent stability over time and do not require recalibration.
