The Cellular Freeze Alarm: Deluxe notifies you of freezing conditions in your home, cabin or business even if you don't have a landline. It includes a telephone thermostat control to remotely turn up the heat or air conditioning with a phone call! In addition to calling up to three phone numbers if the temperature gets too low, or the power goes out, the Cellular Freeze Alarm: Deluxe can also call if the temperature gets too high, if you have a water leak, or flood or if an intruder has entered the premises (optional sensors required and purchased separately).
The Cellular Freeze Alarm: Deluxe easily works with answering machines or voice mail. If you have an answering machine or voice mail at the location you are monitoring, you can still receive messages or you can access your Cellular Freeze Alarm through a simple procedure. If the FreezeAlarm is calling locations that have voice mail or answering machines, you will hear all or a portion of the alarm message on your message system.
The Cellular Freeze Alarm: Deluxe uses the included cellular terminal to make outgoing alarm calls, functioning as a freeze alarm cell phone.
The FreezeAlarm plugs into a regular 110 volt power outlet, but uses a 9 volt lithium or alkaline battery for back-up power. The 9 volt battery is not included. Lithium 9 volt batteries are highly recommended over alkaline batteries. They last longer in colder temperatures and hold their power much better when you have frequent power failures.
Telephone Controlled Thermostat for Single or Multiple Zones
Whether you need to control single or multiple zones, you can use the Cellular Freeze Alarm: Deluxe’s phone controlled thermostat to turn on your heat or air conditioning before you get to your property. For multiple zones, you have two options, control all the zones or only critical zones, which is easier and generally more cost effective.
We offer two versions of this alarm based on your cellular provider. If you use AT&T or T-Mobile please read the information provided on the product page for the AGM GSM Cellular Remote Alarm Module, if your provider is Verizon please see the product page for the Axesstel TX240G Fixed Wireless Voice Terminal for more specific information on each unit.
Installation is as simple as plugging in the cellular module to the freeze alarm with a standard telephone cord (included), and performing some simple programming on the freeze alarm.
