General

  • UPS GROUND shipping is available FREE for orders with a subtotal of $100.00 or more.
  • Above shipping offer is only valid for the United States continental 48 states. See below for information on shipping to destinations outside of the continental 48.
    • Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, and APO addresses:
      YES, we DO ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, and APO addresses; however, these destinations do not qualify for free shipping offers.  Please also see the following details specific to your location:
      • ALASKA, HAWAII, AND PUERTO RICO shipping addresses:  USPS (Postal Service) shipping charges will be displayed and charged upon checkout.
      • APO (MILITARY) shipping addresses: All APO shipments must go USPS (Postal Service). USPS (Postal Service) shipping charges will be displayed and charged upon checkout.
      • CANADA AND MEXICO shipping addresses: UPS is the only available method for Canada and Mexico. Please note that UPS will charge you any applicable duties and taxes plus a "brokerage fee" at the time of delivery, which covers customs clearance. This fee will be your responsibility.     • International Customers: We do not ship outside of the United States (with the exception of Canada and Mexico), unless the destination is an APO (military) address. If your address is an APO, you may simply place your order online and select select Postal Service shipping. APO addresses do not qualify for free shipping offers. If your shipping address is not an APO, then we could assist you with your purchase if you were to utilize an international freight forwarder with a United States address that we could ship to. Unfortunately we cannot arrange this for you, but if you select a forwarder in the United States and you would simply like us to ship your purchase to them for you, we would be happy to do so.
    • P.O. Boxes: We can only ship to Post Office Boxes for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and APO addresses and only if USPS (Postal Service) is selected as the carrier. All other shipments will ship via UPS (United Parcel Service) which requires a street address. Providing a PO Box address on a UPS shipment will result in shipment error and additional fees.
    • All shipments are FOB Factory.

Availability & Shipping Time

  • In-stock items that are ordered by 2pm Eastern time: will ship same-business-day from Butler, NJ 07405. In-stock items ordered after 2pm EST will ship the next business day.
  • Fraud Screening: Please note that for security purposes and customer protection, there may occasionally be a shipping delay for orders with differing shipping and billing addresses so that the cardholder identity can be verified.
  • Holiday Schedule: We are closed and do not ship on the following days: 1/1/2016, 2/15/2016, 3/25/2016, 5/30/2016, 7/4/2016, 9/5/2016, 11/24/2016, 11/25/2016, 12/26/2016, and 2/2/2017.  If you have a question on a holiday, email us at support@diycontrols.com. We do our best to have techs available for email inquiries at all times.
  • Items marked as "Usually ships in X business days": drop ship directly from their respective suppliers.
  • Ordering large quantities of “in stock” items: Please email us using the contact form on the "contact us" page. or call us at 800-487-1363 between 8am and 5pm Eastern time, Monday to Friday, to confirm availability.
  • Orders containing both in-stock items and backordered items: We may be able to do partial shipments upon request; however, partial shipments may incur additional shipping charges.
  • Estimated Delivery Times: are just estimates, they are not guaranteed. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for delays on the part of the shipping carrier or for delivery address problems*. Estimated delivery times do not include weekends or holidays. *If any customer action, such as providing an incorrect address or refusing a shipment, results in additional shipping fees, those fees are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Missing or Damaged Items: Upon receiving any packages and or materials, please immediately check the contents against the packing slip and your order acknowledgement. Carefully go through all packing materials to be sure you do not accidentally throw away any items from your order. Orders go through a double check for accuracy. Any missing or damaged items must be reported within 10 business days. We will not be responsible for anything reported after that time.
