Since EConnect is completely wireless, your electrician can install your thermostat wherever you want it in the room - improving comfort without requiring any renovation. A single EConnect thermostat can control all heaters in the room, for maximum convenience, energy efficiency, and comfort.

Wireless Systems put an end to those hidden obstacles. The Honeywell EConnect wireless thermostat for electrical heating installs in half the time of a wired thermostat. It is compatible for direct installation in most baseboards or can be installed in a remote junction box. Each Equipment Interface Module can support a maximum load of 3000W at 240V and can be used to control baseboards, convectors and fan forced heaters.

The Gateway is the heart of the system. It creates an internet link for remote control of the thermostats. A basic kit consists of a Gateway, a thermostat and electronic interface module (EIM). This kit will control up to 3000 Watts of heating at 240 volts (1500 watts at 120 volts). If you need to control additional heaters from the same thermostat, you can purchase additional EIM kits. You can control a maximum of 8 EIM units (24,000 watts) with a single thermostat. You can purchase additional thermostats with EIM if you need to control different zones. Only one Gateway is required for the entire system.
