Increase the functionality of your Venstar thermostat by adding Venstar Indoor/Outdoor Remote Temperature Sensor. This sensor allows you to monitor the temperature in an additional spot on your property. It can be mounted on the interior or exterior of your home for an accurate temperature reading.

The Remote Duct Sensor for Venstar thermostats is a digital temperature sensor. Constructed with plenum-rated cable, it is designed to be installed inside the return air duct. A grommet is included to protect the cable from the edge of the sheet metal. This sensor may also be used as a remote room sensor where an unobtrusive sensor is required.

The Venstar Remote Indoor Temperature Sensor w/ Override (ACC0401) offers the user ability to change to Occupied mode for after hours heating or cooling. It will measure indoor-air temperature at a remote location from the thermostat. It is a digital sensor designed for use with Venstar thermostats.

In applications where additional wiring cannot be run to your programmable digital thermostat, the Add-A-Wire accessory can be used to add a wire to the thermostat. The accessory can also be used to fix a broken wire, to make one thermostat work like two, to add cooling to a heat-only system, or to add a common wire to a 4-wire system.

The Venstar ACC-TSEN Remote Indoor/Outdoor Air Temperature Sensor measures indoor or outdoor air temperature with a range of -20 to 120° F. If used indoors as a remote temperature sensor, the sensor will read room temperature and send the information to the ColorTouch thermostat. If used as an outdoor temperature sensor, the sensor may be used to provide outdoor temperature information (which is not used to control heating or cooling).

If you use a Venstar programmable thermostat, you can adjust the temperature in your home manually from the comfort of your sofa, using a tiny handheld remote control. The Thermostat IR Control & Receiver comes with a module that snaps into the RJ-11 port of the. Aim the included remote at the thermostat, and you'll be able to turn on the heat, adjust the air conditioning by a few degrees, or even turn the system off entirely.

If you are currently using or plan to purchase a Wireless Thermostat Receiver with one or more Wireless Thermostat Senders, each sold separately, you can use this Wireless Thermostat Two-Wire Heat-Only Kit to start or expand a wireless system to allow for control of most two-wire heat-only devices.
