The All-Purpose Interface (API) is a device that can wirelessly interface to various accessories to complement the performance of the LDS system, reduce nuisance alarms, and improve the customer's experience and satisfaction with the system. It should be placed within 100' of the control panel to maximize signal strength. This module allows you to have a outside device trigger the Leak Defense System into Standby mode, such as for a sprinkler system to run, or flip the unit into away mode when you arm your home security system and flip back to home when you disarm the system.
